LETTER FROM GARY BLICK MD, PRESIDENT, WORLD HEALTH CLINICIANS, INC.

Thank you for your interest in our non-profit, 501(c)3 humanitarian organization, World Health Clinicians, Inc (WHC). My medical partner, Dr. Paola Greiger-Zanlungo, Executive Vice President, Scott Gretz, and I founded WHC in 2010. With a mission to prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS and sexually transmitted infections and reduce the associated morbidity and mortality in the developed and developing world through treatment, patient advocacy and assistance, and education, we created the BEAT AIDS: Project Zimbabwe (BAPZ) and CIRCLE CARE Center (CCC).

After visiting Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, one of the “Seven Natural Wonders of the World”, and witnessing how HIV/AIDS has devastated its people, we founded BAPZ. In collaboration with Zimbabwe's Ministry of Health and many partners working in Zimbabwe, BAPZ is working to save the next generation of Zimbabweans from HIV/AIDS through the virtual elimination of pediatric HIV/AIDS by 2015. Why Zimbabwe?

• Zimbabwe has the world’s fourth highest rate of HIV prevalence
• The annual population growth rate from 2000 to 2008 was ZERO percent
• A reported 20.1% of Victoria Falls residents have HIV/AIDS, the highest in the nation of Zimbabwe
• There are over 1 MILLION Zimbabwean children left orphaned by HIV/AIDS

CCC, Connecticut’s only Center of Excellence for HIV/AIDS and Sexually Transmitted Infections and a model of excellence in meeting the needs of the tri-state LGBTQ community, provides comprehensive medical care and a vast array of medical and psychosocial services in one friendly, comfortable environment. CCC has been meeting the needs of the LGBTQ community since 1987.

WHC, a truly unique non-governmental, non-academic, non-profit organization, is seeking funding from individuals, philanthropies, foundations and the business sector to achieve our goals. BAPZ is already on the ground in Victoria Falls helping orphans and women with HIV/AIDS. WHC and CCC are moving into our new 5600+ square foot offices in Norwalk, CT by year's end.

Any support you can offer, be it as a donor/fundraiser, volunteer, or consultant/ advisor, is greatly appreciated. Together, with your help and our passion and expertise, we can save thousands of lives and end the suffering of those plagued by HIV/AIDS at home and in Victoria Falls, while continuing to meet the needs of our local LGBTQ community.

Gary Blick, MD. AAHIVS
President, WHC
